The Sarojin Khao Lak Review

The Sarojin Khao Lak Review by Natasha Griffin

One of the best things about this job is the opportunity to experience the hotels that you sell. I had arranged to meet my mother and sister in Thailand; since they live in Australia, it was a great central location for us to reunite.

We toured various locations in Thailand, and our final stop for 5 nights was The Sarojin in Khao Lak. From the moment you walk into The Sarojin, it feels as if you are in a totally calm oasis. The gardens and lily pond are just stunning, and the lawns are immaculate.

The Rooms

We were taken to our One Bedroom Suite, which featured a beautiful patio with a covered jacuzzi. The level of furnishing and detail in the rooms was second to none. It was so luxurious that I don’t think they could improve on a single detail. I loved everything, from our personalized water bottles to the three bath bombs waiting for the pool-sized bath.

The Pool

The pool area is beautiful and serene with fabulous double cabanas with loads of shade.  We had

excellent pool service the attentive staff always on hand with cold water, or fruit.  We the pool service is fast and efficient, anything you need the staff are on hand.

Fiscus Restaurant

On our first night, we had dinner in Ficus beachfront restaurant. We were fortunate to experience on of their “Culinary Journey Evenings” which was the most perfect and delicious Thai food, and it was cooked to perfection. The beach,

The Beach

Is around 11 km long, is perfect for beautiful long walks, which we did most mornings before breakfast. There are a few local restaurants dotted along the beach.

The breakfast at The Sarojin stands out, especially with their all-day champagne breakfast! They serve a beautiful à la carte breakfast that is absolutely outstanding. The staff learn your name on the first morning and remember your preferences for the rest of your stay. I love this level of detail; it truly shows a hotel that cares about its guests.

If I have to find a negative for The Sarojin, I have to dig deep! In March, we encountered jellyfish in the sea, but I am told they are not always there. It didn’t spoil anything for us; we still enjoyed the view and the beach service. Especially at sunset with a happy hour cocktail, it is a perfect way to end the day.

Every moment at The Sarojin demonstrates luxury and personalized service. From the lush surroundings to the impeccable attention to detail, it was an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re looking for a serene escape or a luxurious base to explore Thailand, The Sarojin in Khao Lak offers an experience like no other. It is one hotel that I will return to!
