Location
CaranaBay is situated on one of the most picturesque bays on Mahé. The hotel has been designed to accentuate the wild nature of this stunning location. Each chalet boasts a view from every room spilling out onto breath-taking turquoise waters, all framed by a lush tropical garden with a granite backdrop.
Guests can enjoy the intimate white-sand beach at their door step or adventure out to discover other magnificent beaches of Mahé.
Accommodation
The CaranaBeach chalets have been designed to accentuate the wild, dramatic landscape on which the hotel is built.
The hushed greys and soft earth tones of the interiors provide a stark but soothing contrast to the view that spills out onto the entire bay from each chalet. The fluorescent blues and greens of the sea, the lush hillside and a white-sand beach framed by granite pillars. Each chalet boasts modern comforts with elegantly rustic touches inspired by the sea. Everything in it, and all that it takes, perfects and gives back from aged driftwood to polished corals.
The hotel features two room types which can fit 2 adults and 1 child:

Lorizon
An ideal setting to enjoy a spectacular view paired with equally refined cuisine. Named after the uninterrupted ocean panorama seen from its elevated perch, Lorizon, which means “horizon” in Creole, is open daily for breakfast. An ideal setting to enjoy a spectacular view paired with equally refined cuisine for a traditional, elegant dinner. Themed evenings are also available throughout the week such as Creole Night, Steak Night and Table d’Hote. Our culinary team takes its pride as recipients of the World Luxury Restaurant Awards. Whereby Lorizon boasts inventive dishes with unusual combinations to surprise, delight and challenge each palate.

Whether you prefer your treatment in the spa or from the comfort of your own chalet on the deck, an unmistakably different spa experience awaits. All of our scrubs, masks and wraps start from a base of cold-pressed virgin coconut oil, produced right here in the Seychelles. We then add a wide range of locally cultivated herbs, spices and extracts for each product: from cinnamon and vanilla to indigenous lemon and eucalyptus. This imparts each treatment with a unique island scent, paired with carefully selected essential oils.
